While monitoring attendance isn’t typically necessary for smaller, private shows, it can be useful for larger or public shows to ensure smooth entry and accurate attendance tracking. CouchConcerts does provide the ability to track attendance based on tickets.
Each guest is sent an email with a receipt, ticket number, and QR code. At the show, you can have a greeter scan thes QR codes from the mobile app at the door. They can either scan a print out of the ticket or scan the QR from the guests mobile app. A QR code can only be scanned once and it will switch their invitation status from attending to attended. You can also just ask there name and manually mark guests as attended in the mobile app.
Here are the steps to follow for checking people in on the day of the event:
Open the mobile app
Go to the Event
Click on the invite Guests tab
Scan the guests QR code as they enter.
Alternatively you can click the attended button to mark them as attended without scanning them
