There are two ways to invite guests to a show. A Personal Invitation and an Open Invitation Link.

Personal Invitation
A Personal Invitation allows you to send a specific, individualized invitation to a guest through the CouchConcerts web or mobile app. Only the person you invite can accept the invitation. This type of invitation requires the recipient’s email address or phone number (email is preferred for better communication).
Best For: Intimate gatherings, trusted individuals, or specific guests like friends and family.
Key Benefits:
Sends a professionally designed email with all show details and instructions.
Enables detailed tracking of responses: see who has accepted, declined, or is still pending.
Once accepted, guests receive a ticket email and show reminders
Provides exclusive access to the show, ensuring only the invited person can attend

Open Invitation Link
An Open Invitation Link is a shareable link that allows anyone with the link to accept the invitation and attend the show.
Best For: Broad audience outreach, public promotion, or when you don’t have individual contact details.
Key Benefits:
Ideal for posting on social media, the artist’s website, or creating QR codes for printed invitations.
Allows you to share a single link in a group email or mailing list.
Once accepted, guests receive the same benefits as personal invitation, including a ticket email, show reminders, and attendance tracking.

Using Both Invitation Types for the Same show
You can use a combination of Personal Invitations and Open Invitation Links for the same show:
Use Personal Invitations to invite your closest friends, family, or trusted individuals for a more controlled and personalized approach.
Use an Open Invitation Link to reach a broader audience by sharing the link through social media, email campaigns, or printed materials.
This approach ensures you can maintain control over specific invites while still allowing for wider promotion and attendance. However, remember that Open Invitation Links can be shared beyond your intended audience, so monitor acceptances closely.
