Describes how you can post or send an invitation that is open to anyone.

Updated this week

An Open Invitation is a convenient, shareable link that allows anyone with access to the link to join your show as a guest and make a donation. Think of it like the "Share" option in Google Docs: once you share the link, anyone who has it can use it to participate.

If you're the host (or have permission to invite guests), you can easily create and share an Open Invitation directly from the CouchConcerts platform. Here’s how:

  1. Go to "My Shows"
Navigate to the show you want to invite guests to.

  2. Click "Invite Guests"
Select the option to invite guests for your chosen show.

  3. Click "Share Invitation"
This will generate a unique link that you can copy or post.

You can share this link on social media, your website, or directly with friends and followers. Many artists use Open Invitations to promote their shows widely, reaching more fans and maximizing attendance. Additionally, you can create a QR code from the link to print on flyers, invitations, or other materials for easy access.

⚠️ Important:

  • Open Invitations are not restricted to a specific person. Anyone with the link can accept the invitation and attend the show.

  • Be mindful of where and how you share the link, especially if you want to maintain some level of exclusivity.

  • Always check with the host to ensure they’re comfortable with your plans to share the link before distributing it broadly. This helps ensure alignment and avoids potential issues.
