What Information Can the Public See About Shows?

Describes when guests and public can see various information about a show for example the address of the host.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The visibility of show details on CouchConcerts depends on whether the event is private or public. Here's how the information is shared:

Private Shows

For private events, the details are intentionally limited to ensure privacy and exclusivity:

  • Public Visibility: Only the artist's name, the date of the show, and the city and state where the show will take place are visible to the public.

  • Invited Guests: Guests who are invited can see the host's name once they log into the platform.

  • Confirmed Guests: Guests who accept the invitation and make a donation to reserve their spot will receive the specific address and additional show details, such as the start time and any special instructions from the host.

This approach ensures that private shows remain exclusive while still providing invited guests with the necessary details to attend.

By limiting the information shown for private events, CouchConcerts maintains the intimate and secure nature of house shows, giving both hosts and guests peace of mind. If you’re hosting or attending a private show, rest assured that personal details like addresses are only shared with those who are confirmed attendees.
