Updated this week

Hosting your first show on CouchConcerts is simple and exciting! The following article describes the various ways you can set up shows in CouchConcerts. Follow the steps below to set up your event and start sharing incredible live music experiences with your friends and community.

1. Send an Artist a request to perform a show

Begin by submitting a request to an artist. The artist can either be someone already on the CouchConcerts platform or a new artist you’d like to invite.

  • Open the Profile Menu in the top-right corner and select Host a Show.

  • Select an artist from the dropdown menu.

  • If the artist isn’t on the platform, click Add Artist and enter their name, email, or phone number.

  • Choose a date or a date range for the event.

  • (Optional) Specify a time for the show.

  • Confirm the donation amount and set the minimum and maximum number of attendees.

  • Review this article for information on all the show parameters you can set

  • Click Request an Event. An email with the event details will be sent to the artist for their review.

2. Wait for Artist Approval

The artist will respond to your request by either approving the show or asking follow-up questions.

3. Publish the Show

Once the artist approves the event, you'll need to finalize and publish it:

  • Open the event details in the platform.

  • Ensure the event has a specific date (not a date range) and a set start time.

  • Click Publish Show to make it live.

4. Invite Guests

After publishing the event, you can start inviting guests to attend. Use the platform's tools to send invitations, track RSVPs, and manage your guest list.

By following these steps, you'll be ready to host an unforgettable CouchConcert and help support the artist while creating a memorable experience for everyone involved. Let us know if you need further assistance!.
