Artist - Select an existing artist from the drop down box or click Add Artist and enter name and email or phone Number
Date or Date Range - Select the date or the date range that you are requesting. Before a show is published it must have a specific date.
Time - Time Guests should arrive. This is not required until the show is published.
Location Name - Enter the name of the venue, or if it is a house show it can just be the name of the host.
Location Address - Complete address of the event location. For private shows, this will not be shared with anyone until they accept the invitation
Cohosts - Optional lists of people that will help you host the event. The primary role of the cohosts is typically to invite people to the show and promote the event. This article has more information about cohosts.
Suggested Donation - Required. This is the amount the guest will donate and the artist will receive to reserve a spot. The donation is per person that the guest is bringing.
Min Attendance - Required. This is the minimum number of people the host expects to attend. This helps the artist understand the low end of expectations for donations.
Max Attendance - Required. The maximum number of people the host can seat. This helps the artist understand the high end of expectation for donation. This can be changed after the show is set up.
Switches - the following switches control whether the events is private or public and who can invite guests. The following article has more information about show types.
Artist Can Invite Guests - Controls whether artists are allowed to invite guests to the show. The default is on, that is artists can invite guests.
Invited Guests Can Invite Their Friends - Controls whether guests you have invited can invite other guests to the show. The default is off, that is guests can not invite other guests.
Public Can Request an Invite - If this is turned on the public will be able to request an invitation. The host can review the request and decide whether to invite them or not. The default is off meaning the public cannot request an invitation.
By Invitation Only - If this is turned off the event is public and anyone can attend. By default this is turned off so that you must be invited to attend the show. The following article has more information about public shows.
Artist Host Show Parameters - There are a couple of other parameters that are available for artists that are setting up their own shows. The following article has more informaiton about artist public shows.
RSVP - If this is set to true there is no payment or ticket is needed for this event. This is typically only for public events and is essentially just letting the hosts know if someone is planning to attend.
Ticket URL - this is also only for a public event. If the venue you are performing at has an external ticketing system, you can put the URL here. Then if someone clicks on purchase a ticket it will bypass the normal couchConcert donation process and go to the external ticketing system,
Note to Artist - If the host is requesting an artist to perform they can provide a little more background about the show.
Please bring the following - This is for the guests and tells them what they can bring to the show. It could be a pillow and blankets, BYOB, bring a side dish or nothing at all.
We will provide the following - If you plan to provide snacks or soft drinks you can include that here. This is completely optional.
Comments - Any other comments you want to include. Perhaps parking instructions, gate codes, information about the artist.
