When you request a show you can add a new artist as long as you have their email and or phone number.
On the Web Open profile menu on top right and select Request a Show
Next to the artist box click Add New
Enter the artists email and or phone number.
Enter the other show nformation.
Click Request at the bottom of the request event form
The artist will receive notification with instructions and a link to accept the event
Once the artist has accepted you Publish the show and begin inviting guests.

It is always a good idea to contact the artist and let them know the request has been sent (it would come from [email protected]) and you can give them a little background.
